Plantation Shutters are available in three materials, Solid hardwood, Engineered timber which is a hardwood hdf material and more recently a polymer material known as Faux Wood which is suitable for all areas including wet areas or areas of high moisture content; such as bathrooms/shower rooms and wet rooms, etc.

There are different styles of shutters:

Full height

The shutters are full height of the window, door or opening.

Tier on Tier

This style of shutter has a bottom panel and a separate top panel enabling separate opening or closing of the top or bottom panels.

Cafe Style

This style is where the panel is fitted to the lower part of a window to offer privacy at the bottom and open view above; typically seen in a cafe situation where it would obscure vision in at a seated height.

Shaped

Many shapes are available such as arched, triangular, circular etc.

Other specifications

Slat widths available are 32mm, 48mm, 64mm and 89mm.

There are a choice of finishes from standard whites to special paint finishes, gloss paints and stained timbers.

Hinges can be colour-coded and there are a number of frame styles to suit every installation.
